Boston Globe’s The Big Picture published today one of the most sobering set of photojournalism photos I have yet to see so far.

While the developed nations agonize over failing stock markets and unemployment, these Congo citizens have it much worse. They face death, rapes, illnesses and hunger on a scale unimaginable to us.
